What to expect...
When you come to New Beginnings you'll be greeted with a friendly hello, most Sundays our Pastor will be standing at the door to greet people. You'll experience a friendly church made up of people who live right here in the Kenova Community, so you'll find friends and neighbors. We welcome all people here because Jesus welcomes all people to Him.
We do not have a dress code, it's come as you are, our Pastor preaches in jeans.
When service begins, you find a welcome from the Pastor and his wife Romy, with a few short announcements. We take up offering to support the Church, if you are visiting, do not feel like you have to give. Then we go into worship with 4 songs, that include a hymn or heritage song and then 3 contemporary songs that are performed by a live band. You'll hear songs that you'll hear on the Christian radio stations today.
After singing, which we encourage, Pastor Bob calls the children forward to pray over them and dismisses them to their own Sunday school. The children join us for worship because we feel that it's important for them to be part of the Church. Pastor Bob preaches a message that will follow a sermon series, his preaching is Christ-Centered and relevant; you'll leave with some application that you can take away and use to answers life's questions.
The first Sunday of every month is Communion Sunday, we practice open communion, which means if you are a Christian, you are welcome to take communion. We don't practice Church membership because we believe that your faith in Christ makes you a member of His Church.
After Service most people just hang around and fellowship.
We go live on our facebook page every Sunday.
