New Beginnings Church of God is a 5-year-old church here in the Kenova community. The Church of God on Poplar St. has a long history in Kenova. However, with a new Pastor and new leadership, we are bringing you a unique church experience. Pastor Bob Ingels has a passion for people, the church, and the community. He believes the church should be where you come as you are and where your faith in Christ makes you a member. New Beginnings is a church where Jesus is the subject of all we say and do and that “church” isn’t a building but a people who love God, love each other and passionately follow Jesus together. In Christ, all people experience a new beginning. 

 

We're a church where you can come as you are and find a contemporary service with live music. We're family-focused, so you'll find children and youth programming. We are community-driven, creating different outreach events throughout the year. One of these events is our "Family Fun Nights" where we get together for food, a fun activity, and fantastic fellowship a few times a year! We also host a Church potluck on the first Sunday of every other month.

Now entering our 3rd year as a Church you'll see how the community is coming together. Most of our congregation walks to Church, and you'll find neighbors, family, and friends ready to welcome you.
